Forté Honored Again in 2011 By The Birmingham AAF.

We are alive! It has been a busy 2011 and we are only in March, the time flew by and we have not updated the blog world in a while.

Last Thursday night, Forte was honored with two gold Addy awards at the 2011 Birmingham AAF awards show. We headed to the Alabama theater with excitement to see what our creative colleagues accomplished in 2010. Birmingham is a community rich in creativity and receiving a Gold Addy, standing out in the crowd, in THIS crowd, is a very big honor. We like the new look and applaud the Birmingham ad world on a job well done this past year. I think the video prior to the awards says it best, in  the agencies words, what we think this community has to offer, and how lucky we feel to be apart of it. Look for some familiar faces!

Thank you to all of the people who made this evening possible. The event is always an impressive affair and this year was no exception! Also to note, the actual award has always been something different, this year, that changed. The trophy will be standardized now, and as you see in the video above, it is a representation of what the Birmingham ad community is all about, ideas. Shout out to Paul Crawford of Scout Branding on the design, we think it is good icon to represent the Birmingham Addy Awards, and hope to add to our collection for years to come!

Our award winning spots were from The Jimmie Hale Mission’s Cardboard campaign.

Congratulations to all of the entrants and winners, we should all be proud to be a part of such a brilliant community of creatives.

Again, thank you to all of the hosts, it was a great night, we look forward to next year!
